Nice jacket

I was hesitant to get the mineral grey color but it looks great in combo with the terracotta bib. I wanted to love it, but the wind somewhat cuts through which I didn’t expect from a shell. The pockets are up high on the chest which took some getting used to but they are nice and large. Jacket kind of bulges out a bit in the middle and sleeves could use a liner to prevent snow from coming up (they Velcro but not a tight enough seal).

The best

Simple yet has it all. The powder skirt is not removable but does not get in the way if you choose to leave it undone. The pockets are abundant and they all have secondary pockets on the inside to keep your items in place! The zippers are all super high quality and water proof. I also really enjoy the fabric it is not clammy or plastic like!

Pros: Excellent waterproofing. Wore it

Pros: Excellent waterproofing. Wore it for a 4-hour hike and it rained all the time but the inner side of the jacket is totally dry. Looking forward to seeing its performance on snow.
Cons: the design of the sleeves can't prevent snow from flooding in.

Comfy and versitile

Love this jacket! It's lightweight, breathable, and really water-resistant! Was so stoked to have this for all the storm day tours as it's breathable enough to wear on the uphill, the fabric vents moisture pretty well while the big pit zips dump a tun of heat quickly, while protecting me from the elements. My Re-up Puffy in a small fits under the shralpinist small really well when it's chilly, it's perfect with a fleece under it most days, and I love how light it is for the warm sunny spring days.

SHE"S GOT STRETCHHHH

I wore the whole Shralpinist kit winter 22/23 in my normal sizing while I was 9 months pregnant. The kit has some serious stretch! I was able to wear it the entire season, and it had the perfect fit post baby once I had my normal body back. It is so insanely comfy and is the perfect length for a jacket. Paired with the December fleece, I was warm all day at Palisades Tahoe. There is nothing I could not do in this jacket. Can't wait to wear it while out splitboarding this season.

Women's Shralpinist Collection - a godsend for women in any conditions!

Jacket, pants, material, size - a godsend for women in any conditions! This collection made my winter season amazing.
It will become my favorite both on artificial slopes, and in the mountains on prepared slopes and in freeride, even in the forest. Very comfortable for women. Exact size. Now you don’t have to take a size larger to fit protective shorts and knee pads. Windproof in strong winds (tested in stormy conditions in Siberia and the Arctic).
I have always been crazy about Jones snowboards. I had a chance to ride on many snowboards of this company (took from friends or participated in test races). There are firms - only one name., but I trust Jones completely. Everything Jones creates is value for money and made for the enjoyment of riding. At the moment I have three snowboards: Nidecker Play (2013, for training) and two of my favorite snowboards: Jones Aviator (2015-2016) and the new Jones Aviator 2 (2022-2023). Snowboard of my dreams. I have been riding for over 20 years and at least 10 of those years in the mountains every season.
In fact, I was going to buy clothes from another famous company, I have been looking for and trying on different clothes from different well-known brands for a long time, everything did not suit me, and one day in the store I found this collection of my favorite Jones company. I was surprised that this is a women's collection. It was a sample. I tried it on and it fits perfectly, just what I was looking for. And I bought the whole collection and did not lose anything.

Comment: In cold weather I also wear the Women's Re-Up Down Recycled Hoodie. Perfect fit. Very comfortable, better than any vest.

Notes: It is necessary to strengthen the side seams of the jacket so that they do not fray when carrying a snowboard in your hand. Sharp edges spoil even such a durable material. The pants are a little uncomfortable at the bottom when putting on, you have to pull them with force on a snowboard boot (I wear men's boots, soft line, stiffness 10 out of 10, US size 9). It is not worth expanding the pants at the bottom - everything is perfect there. I think it is necessary to add a hidden zipper with lock protection so that it does not cling and does not vomit while riding or walking.

P.S.: Sorry for my poor English))) I think you understand what I mean) Now I'm waiting for a cool women's old-school hoodie from Jones)))

Love. But arm fit could use work.

LOVE so many features of this jacket that can simply not be found with other brands—The stretch, the water protection, the size and location of pockets, the hood that actually stays on and moves with you while wearing a helmet…all pending themselves to a great touring and backcountry shred experience. However—maybe it’s just me, but the arm length is too short across all the women’s Jones outerwear, especially when I do any reaching. I have to wear long gloves to keep from getting cold wet wrists. I’d say I have average length arms. 5’9” 145 lbs. I had to get a large to help this issue slightly. Add an extra inch or two of fabric team :D

Meant for an athlete

This jacket has been perfect for all year round. It is super breathable while being totally wind and water proof plus the stretch is great for layering up underneath it. I wear a size small and It is true to size and doesn’t restrict any movement. Its perfect for any day and any type of weather. definitely my go to jacket!
