Perfect Family Board Bag

This bag is the best board bag for a family of snowboarders. We fit 4 boards (160, 150, 110, 106), 4 bindings (smallest board stays assembled on the top) - we use extra velcro straps to secure the boards together (though the included straps are more than enough if you're traveling with 1-2 adult boards). The stash bags are great for all of our extra mittens, hats, base layers, etc. We use our fleece to line the top and bottom of the bag + between the boards incase anything gets banged, but the bag itself has more than enough padding. If 50 pound weight limits were not a thing on checked bags we'd be able to shove way more in here, but instead we pack snow pants, jackets, helmets and boots in our carryons just in case our checked bags don't make it. When travelling without kids I can pack for a 4-5 day ski trip in just this bag + a carryon.

This is just a really great board bag - well made, thoughtfully designed and worth the price. We've taken it on many flights and it shows no signs of wear.

Excellent Bag!

I bought this bag for a trip to Colorado. It fit two boards/bindings, two boots (size 12 & 13), two sets of snow pants, two coats, and multiove sets of gloves, etc. We couldn't quite fit our helmets in there with all of that gear as our boots were so big. I am very impressed with the quality of the bag! I am very happy with the purchase!

Amazing bag

Just had a chance to travel with the expedition bag, it was awesome. First the bag has a ton of storage space, one of the spaces are removable boot bags which can also be used for clothing. My size 13 boots fit with out issue, the other bag held my pants, gloves and hats plus my two kids. It also has pockets for other things like socks and so on.. The out side handles and straps were great especially the tightening straps to keep the bag secure. The wheels are well made and help especially with the bag full when navigating the airport. I think if I had to look for one small critique it would be, the bag won’t stand upright with out holding it. It would have been amazing if the designer could come up with a new way to make that work. Either way this bag is amazing I would highly recommend it for its storage, quality, and its ease of use.

Sick bag

Reviews are accurate, this thing is a beast and made very heavy duty with attention to detail on seams, materials, wheels, zipper etc. If you want all your gear in one bag for air travel this is the gold standard. Very happy with the investment.

Outstanding bag

Just returned from a few weeks in Japan at Niseko and Hakuba Valley and had my bag shipped all over the place there (Yamato Transport is the best!) and everything was well protected throughout all the travel.

When I was hauling it around myself the wheels ate up all the bumps and cracks in pavement without issue. It was packed pretty full and the handles took it all in stride.

The various pockets and removable stuff sacks proved to be exceptional when it came to keeping things organized and the compression straps on the outside certainly helped things stay in place throughout all the adventures. Cannot recommend this bag enough. My girlfriend’s bag wasn’t as awesome and she was jealous for the whole trip. She is likely to pick one up herself, and likely soon!

I was able to pack my board, boots, bindings, helmet, googles all my snow related gear including shell, pants, multiple base layers and fleeces and even had room to pack a few smaller boxes with some glorious (and VERY rare) bourbon in the bag. ZERO issues, not even a nick on anything that I noticed. I would also say the willingness (read comfort) to pack bottles (albeit in some boxes) along with everything else is indicative of the confidence I had in the bag keeping everything safe. It didn’t disappoint in any area.

You will not get bored with this bag

Awesome bag with lots of pockets and areas to store things other than your just your board. Excelet padding to keep your board safe from aggressive TSA and baggage handlers. Wheels rolls smooth and handle placements are great. Not sure what else you would need from a bag.

Expectations exceeded

This bag met my expectations, and then some. Superior construction. Love that you can slide a second board through the sleeve on the top of the bag to sandwich gear between boards. Nice padding. Love that the gear bags clip out. Handles are perfectly place around the bag. Would definitely buy again.

Board bag of your dreams

Hands down the best board bag on the market today. Quality is superb, made with recycled materials, holds 2 boards (1 without bindings), multiple carry handles and shoulder strap, plus room for boots, gear galore, extra bindings or avy tools. Comes with 2 smaller removable interior bags to hold gear and keep things organized and separated (ingenious!). Rolls well, solid/sturdy zippers and cinch straps keep things together while traveling.
